About Me: I grew up in Mobile, AL and after high school went into Navy submarines undergoing two deployments, a major reactor overhaul and fought against the largest submarine fire in U.S. history. I went to Northeastern University completing two degrees in business and computer science, while working a variety of jobs throughout, but my true passion laid elsewhere, I just hadn’t discovered it yet. After a few years in the corporate world I knew I had to find something else and after pondering I decided to give aviation a shot and never looked back since.

I completed PPL, IR and CPL at Epic Flight Academy in New Smyrna Beach, FL and my CFI at Tailwinds in Mobile, AL. I trained in Cessna 152/172S as well as Piper Cherokee and Archers.

I’ve had the luxury to train in both Part 61 and Part 141 flight schools so I’ve been able to tailor my approach to be more closely aligned with FAA expectations but open ended based on the students personal progress. Most importantly I teach a simple and common sense approach to flying. I’m here for you to succeed and know what’s going on in and outside of the airplane.
